Vernon Millis - Culinary Manager
Vern has a passion for cooking and a love of quality food! He leads the culinary team at our Paradise Adult Home. He has worked and trained in the culinary arts since 2010, following an internship at Wentworth Resort in Jackson, New Hampshire, after having trained at the New Hampshire Culinary Institute. He is known for his baking and pastry abilities.
Vern is a great asset to Avalon Hills and loves to help the clients develop a love of cooking. His enthusiasm is contagious and he crafts outstanding dishes and desserts. He is a positive influence on the clients.
Vern loves his family and his grandchildren bring him great joy. He is often with family when he is not at work and he cannot imagine life without them at his side.
