Jennifer Cheney - Education Coordinator
Jennifer attended Utah State University, graduating in Education and Spanish. She has a passion for humanitarian work, and served as a vaccinator in Paraguay and a health educator in Ecuador. She worked at Bear River Mental Health as a case worker for adolescent girls until the birth of her first baby when she became a stay-at-home mom. She is the mother of one daughter and three sons, ages 20, 17, 15 and 11.
In 2006, she and her family moved t Japan where her husband worked for the Department of Defense with the Air Force. While in Japan, Jenifer and her family served as a US ambassador family to Japanese teens. Jennifer volunteered at an orphanage, taught English at a psychiatric hospital and a preschool, and led a cultural exchange group for Japanese and American women. In 2014, her family returned to Cache Valley where they enjoy hiking, biking, working outside and traveling together.
