Jennifer Cheney - Education Coordinator
Jennifer attended Utah State University, graduating in Education and Spanish. She has a passion for humanitarian work, and served as a vaccinator in Paraguay and a health educator in Ecuador. She worked at Bear River Mental Health as a case worker for adolescent girls until the birth of her first baby when she became a stay-at-home mom. She and her husband are parents of one daughter and three sons.
In 2006, she and her family moved to Japan where her husband worked for the Department of Defense with the Air Force. While in Japan, Jennifer and her family served as a US ambassador family to Japanese high school and middle school students. Jennifer also volunteered at an orphanage, taught English at a Japanese preschool and a psychiatric hospital, and created and led a cultural exchange group for Japanese and American women. In 2014, her family returned to Cache Valley. She and her family enjoy hiking, skiing, biking, working outside and traveling together.
