Lesle Dickey - Assistant Program Director
Lesle began work with Avalon Hills as a LPN and now works closely with our Primary Care Provider and Medical Director in her role as Assistant Director of Programming. Her primary responsibilities include directing the day-to-day aspects of each client’s healthcare needs and working with other nursing staff to ensure excellence in the delivery of 24-hour nursing needs.
Her career in healthcare began in 1994. Lesle’s education was completed at Bridgerland Applied Technology Center, Weber State University and Utah State University.
Lesle is a natural leader and maintains that no single individual is capable or responsible for assisting client change, rather that all caregivers play an important role in the team approach to helping clients recover. This philosophy lends itself to her responsibilities of directing nursing activities within the facilities and working directly with the Medical Director and Primary Care Provider to ensure the medical needs of the clients are being met.
In her work with clients, she believes that each client has the capacity to love herself and move toward something more positive each day. Lesle’s kind heart and gentle approach with clients immediately engenders a feeling of comfort with her.
Lesle loves spending time with family and creating memories. She enjoys moments at the ball park and with her loved ones. She also loves spending time with her dog, Pixee, who has a special place in the family.
