Neurotherapy

We’ve already described neurofeedback, our main neurotherapy, in detail, in Overview—How We Are Different and in Treatment Components. Affectionately known as the “Nerd Herd”, our skilled neurofeedback technicians and therapists facilitate client work on biofeedback and neurofeedback approaches. We also use the MUSE device, which is a simpler neuroregulation device worn on the forehead like a headband and is geared toward developing mindfulness, calm focus and anxiety regulation. Clients also learn how to train their heart rate variability, with technology tools including the emWave Pro and the emWave. Finally, neurofeedback training is based on the findings from the qEEG. More information about this area of treatment is also found under the Applied Neuroscience tab.
