Antonia is BCIA Board Certified in Neurofeedback. Antonia joined Avalon Hills in 2016, bringing with her over 10 years of experience in the fields of research and teaching. Antonia holds a BA from Bard College, Annandale-On-Hudson, New York with a dual degree in Arabic Language, Culture & Literature and Human Rights and a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. She then earned a BS in Psychology from Utah State University, Logan, Utah, graduating Summa Cum Laude with departmental honors in 2015. While at Bard, Antonia studied abroad in Morocco and Palestine, and after graduating, she lived and worked in Palestine, Rome and Egypt. At USU, Antonia assisted with research in human and animal neuroscience laboratories, and led a Multicultural Psychology class in developing an on-going community outreach project in conjunction with a local nonprofit, Cache Refugee and Immigrant Connection. She also currently works with individuals experiencing severe mental illness at Bear River Mental Health, a local community mental health organization. Antonia is passionate about social justice and human rights issues, and about serving others.

Antonia brings compassion and dedication to her work at Avalon Hills. She is committed to always learning and never gives up on a challenge. Antonia strives to strengthen self-worth and self-acceptance in those she works with while also guiding them towards growth and wellness. She finds deep satisfaction in helping others to realize their potential and to find joy in themselves and their lives.

When not at work, Antonia can be found cultivating her wild forest yard along the Logan River, reading a good book, or going for a hike. She loves learning languages and traveling, and coming home to her little house here in the Utah mountains.
