Grace Ohwiler

Grace is the singing chef extraordinaire. You can hear Grace sing before you can even smell her cooking most days! Grace started with Avalon Hills in 2013 and has worked in the culinary industry for 25+ years. Prior to working for Avalon, my favorite job was at Burgers & Bagels in Salt Lake City. Aside from her vast knowledge in the music genre, she is known for her passion for cooking and the value of flavor/spice in what she cooks. One of her strengths specific to working for Avalon is that she is good at adjusting and customizing the needs of Avalon’s residents for allergies/dislikes as they work through their recovery.

Grace is passionate about making delicious desserts as often as possible and reports that the BBQ grill is “her second home.” Outside of work, she is passionate about her family and sports; specifically RUGBY! When she is not working you can find her at home cooking for her family or on a baseball diamond. Grace also spends as much time outdoors preferably by a river.
