Jami Butler, MS, RD, CD

Jami is a Registered Dietitian licensed in the state of Utah. Her love for food and nutrition led her to pursue a career in dietetics. Through personal experiences, she developed a passion for helping others to improve their relationship with food. To fulfill this desire, she joined Avalon Hills in 2022, bringing her experience in motivational interviewing and nutrition education.

Jami completed her BS degree in Dietetics at Brigham Young University and later moved to Illinois where she obtained an MS degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, with an emphasis in nutrition education, from Eastern Illinois University. She uses her knowledge and love of nutrition and food to help people understand that food is not the enemy. Jami finds it rewarding to see the joy in clients as they find freedom with food and learn to find pleasure in eating.

When not at work, Jami loves to travel and can often be found working on craft projects such as crocheting and resin art, spending time with family, or enjoying the beauty of nature.
