Sunny Ginter

Sunny Ginter is a License Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Utah and has worked at Avalon since 2025. Prior to joining Avalon, Sunny practiced in the state of Colorado, working with special needs families through the Military’s Exceptional Family Member program and in for the state of Hawaii in the Children and Adolescent Mental Health division, working with young women who have experienced trauma. Additionally, Sunny worked for the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii, Ontrack Program, treating individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis.

In Sunny’s experience working with teens and young adults she identified many individuals experiencing eating disorder symptoms and decided to focus her work on individuals experiencing eating disorders. Sunny is a native of Utah, and upon returning to Utah sought out an opportunity to work Avalon Hills with local experts. Sunny believes everyone has the ability to make progress and heal and finds joy in assisting individuals find their way to peace and happiness.

Sunny is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family therapist, became licensed in 2019 and has been practicing since 2017.
