Taylor started with Avalon Hills in November of 2013 as Direct Care and worked in that position for 3 years. In September of 2016 she was offered the position as the Yoga Instructor.
From November 2016 through December 2016 she travelled to Baja Mexico for 26 days to study and complete her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.
Taylor is passionate about meditation, mindfulness, and asana practice. Yoga has helped her reconnect with herself and to open up and live in the present moment.
Professionally she is passionate about Avalon’s “Treat to Outcome” philosophy and loves seeing the clients become ready to take on recovery. She has a particular skill at de-escalating a client in an escalated situation.
What most excites her about her work and the contribution she can make is the opportunity to help girls and women through their treatment and help them get back into and become aware of their body. She loves watching their progress as they come alive again.
When she is not at work you can find her in the Mountains. She enjoys hiking, trail running, skiing, camping, basically anything to get outside and breathing fresh air. She also likes to read, play with her dogs, and spend time with family.
